After reading the previous reviews this site promised a lot. The pitch was large enough and fully serviced, the staff were also helpful and friendly. The disappointment was with the toilet facilities, toilets were often found in a dirty condition and wash hand basins grubby. This I believe is not the cleaners fault, rather the seasonal workers who were renting a mobile home. These people seemed unable to carry out basic cleaning after using the facilities. Antisocial behaviour was the next disappointment with late night parties till 2.00 am on two occasions, banging car doors and sounding car horns after 22.30. Cars visiting the mobile homes arrived after the gate was supposed to be closed (21.00 during this period). The site is probably totally different during the higher season, but based on our experience in low season we will not be returning.

This is a beautifully situated campsite on the edge of a delightful village with excellent access and signage and there are so many wonderful places which can be visited in the region. The staff were outstandingly helpful and friendly and a credit to their employer.

We found this campsite easily from the motor way. We had intended to stay one or two nights but ended up staying for a week as we liked it so much. It has a really nice atmosphere, the family that own it are very friendly and laid back. The children really liked the bouncy castle although the playground space is small. The restaurant was very nice, the shop was small. The location is good for some of the Chateaux, we visited Azay le Rideau, which is absolutely spectacular. Make time for the village there, as there are some lovely shops and restaurants to visit.

Mooie camping met vernieuwd zwembad. Ruime plaatsen maar vrij drassig na zware regen. Rustig wandel- en fietsgebied met uitgestippelde routes - dicht bij kastelen van de Loire en routes des vins.
